About Us
The family entered aviation in 1946 when my grandfather, William (Bill) Nodorft purchased his first aircraft. Bill built a small runway on the family farm, but it wasn't long before that was out grown and moved to the southern portion of the property. My parents (Dale and Karen Nodorft) and grandparents operated the airport Through 1985. They owned the airport, sold fuel, and provided flight training, aircraft maintantence, air charter and aircraft storage. Bill passed January 1st 1982. Dale managed some aviation businesses from mid 1985 to mid 1986 when he joined the FAA. During his career within the FAA he was the Principle Operations Inspector for many large name flight schools and charter operators. Since retiring he enjoys flying his friendly Pipers. I (Dan Nodorft) worked with the family business and gained experience with a few aviation locations before starting to work for Showalter Flying Service the beginning of 1991. I worked with them for 24 years which ended when the business was sold to a chain FBO. My wife and I started Delta November Aviation, LLC "The Pilot Shop" in 2015. We strive to bring quality aircraft and pilot products to the aviation community.
